To all of my friends,
No matter how bad you think your presentation has been yesterday, take some comfort from the fact that at least we already try our best. It’s not the end; we can still score good grades through other unit task and final exam. So let’s try our best and make Cik Mas proud of us at the end of April next year.
If you all ask me, I think Maz and Fiza were the only couples that manage to present in good quality of Life Sciences spoken English. As for Tuk and Wong, when they plugged 2 thumb drives with 2 separated PowerPoint presentation I already think that they going to be in trouble. It’s just like "saja-saja nak buang markah dan masa" since both of you were good in English.
Izam and me got the lucky number 5 but as you all already know it was very unpleasant presentation from us. I spent 4 humiliating minutes and successfully make fool of myself in front there. I think Izam could be better than me if he do not stand beside the computer facing the door instead of facing the audience and keep on reading his notes.
I think before we can start speaking in good proper English, we have to learn how things are said in English. We can do this by reading and listening to correct English sentences of other people especially to improve our grammar and vocabulary.
During the presentation I told Fiza that in my point of view all of us (beside Fiza, Tuk, Wong, and Kak Tina) should attend the Vocabulary and Grammar classes first before attending Cik Mas class. I think Cik Mas will agree with me.
I can still develop my English skills. All I need is a little work on my own. I hope by keep on writing on this blog will improve my English.
Regards..
RaZaK
